Teresa Campbell is a violinist and teacher who is passionate about giving kids access to classical music and using classical music for social change. As a performer, Teresa has extensive performing experience as a symphonic player (Madison Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Rockford Symphony, New Jersey Philharmonic, and the Gateway Orchestra in Connecticut) and as a chamber musician. She currently plays in two chamber music groups: the Twin Cities String Trio and the newly formed Stone Arch Collective, which was a MPR Class Notes Artist for 2015-2016. She can also regularly be seen performing at the Basilica of St Mary in Minneapolis.
Besides performing, Teresa is a seasoned teacher, having taught private students for the last 15 years. She currently has a private studio at MacPhail Center for Music of both Suzuki and Traditional students, and also teaches in two El Sistema- inspired programs in North Minneapolis.
